Upon arrival you will collect your rental vehicle within the airport terminal and make your way to your accommodation where the day and night are free to spend at your leisure and prepare for the adventure ahead.

This morning is free to explore Queenstown at leisure and take part in some of the fantastic activities that this ‘Adventure Capital of the World’ has to offer. Options for the adventurous include: Skydiving, Bungy Jumping, Jet Boating, Canyon Swings, White Water Rafting, Flyboarding and Paragliding. If you feel like taking a more relaxed approach to the day, a cruise on the TSS Earnslaw 100 year old steam ship or a walk through Queenstown’s Botanic Gardens are not to be missed. Early afternoon you will visit the award winning Amisfield Bistro & Cellar Door where you will enjoy a ‘trust the chef’ degustation lunch overlooking the glorious Lake Hayes.

This evening you will indulge in a private bathing experience at Onsen Hot Pools Queenstown. Your experience begins with a 45-minute soak in a cedar lined hot tub while you enjoy a complimentary drink and snack and soak up the incredible views of the quintessential southern landscape. Once relaxed, calm and warm, you will then be treated to your choice of face or body treatments in Onsen Queenstown's peaceful day spa room with 1 hour spa packages available.

Be prepared for one of the jewels of the New Zealand landscape. The flight from Queenstown to Milford Sound is one of the most spectacular in the world and certainly a highlight on any New Zealand tour. En route you will see spectacular valleys, breath taking mountains and hopefully spot the cheeky Kea (New Zealand’s mountain parrot).

This morning you will experience all that the fjords have to offer with a 1.5 hour boat cruise featuring pristine waterfalls and towering mountains plunging into the Tasman Sea (included activity). Keep a look out for dolphins, seals and the Fiordland crested Penguin and have a delicious scenic lunch. Return to Queenstown in the afternoon where the rest of the day is free to spend as you wish.

Did someone say Queenstown wine tour? It’s time to pinot! Travel in premium Mercedes vehicles visiting four of Central Otago’s finest and off the beaten track cellar doors, including a visit to New Zealand’s famous Gibbston Valley underground wine cave. Look, smell and taste over 18 spectacular cool-climate wines and enjoy an optional scrumptious lunch (additional cost ordered on the day) whilst your charismatic wine guide and knowledgeable cellar staff educate and amuse you with local winemaking facts and stories.

Pending your flight time, you can take one of the most scenic drives in the world towards Glenorchy from Queenstown (45 mins). Here you can visit some Lord of The Rings filming locations and experience the ultimate scenic drive along a road that winds its way along the pristine shores of Lake Wakatipu, surrounded by majestic mountains. Indulge in the breathtaking views and make unforgettable memories with the many stops along the way. Take a break and discover the hidden gem of Glenorchy, a charming town nestled amongst the mountains, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch or a refreshing coffee.
